Anyways on 7-17 Cycle Folsom - resplendent in the new kit left Karen's bakery on a search for Wilton. The Peloton and Performance groups were together on the ride and we had a few new comers (Meagan and Ashton - I hope I spelled that right?) The ride took us out Sibley and Scott Rd. Then Latrobe and Dillard into Wilton.
Graham's son - with his new driver's license was a blessing with water for all at the Gas station at Wilton Rd and Grantline Rd. The ride soon split into a couple of groups each choosing their own Pace. Dan was along and was doing a fantastic job coaching and
cheering on the slower riders. It was good to see you Dan!After the Waterstop... the pace kicked up on G
rantline and over to the South Folsom canal for an average of over 22mph for the return leg. Dan leg the group in pacelining practice and the odd sprint attack. The ride ended with a nice 15-18 pace back to Karen's bakery on the trail.
Although the day was hot we were lucky with a bit of an early breeze and completion o f the ride back before the heat really settled in.
Callison Road loop including Indian Hill and Shirland tract this coming Saturday.. 7:30 start time at Karen's.
